Compare three ABS Cherry Profile keycap sets from Keyreative—Nekoccino, TR_808, and Future Knights—and use clear decision rules to pick the right look and feel for your keyboard.
Quick answer
Choose Nekoccino if you want a warm café colorway, TR_808 if you want a music-inspired retro look, and Future Knights if you want a futuristic theme at the lowest price. All three use durable ABS plastic and the comfortable Cherry profile.
Why ABS and Cherry profile work well together
ABS plastic keeps these keycaps light and gives a crisp, smooth feel that many typists prefer for fast typing. Cherry profile is sculpted so each row sits at a slightly different angle, which guides your fingers naturally and reduces strain during long sessions.
The trade-off is that ABS can develop a shine over time, especially on frequently used keys. If you prioritize a matte, textured surface that resists shine, consider PBT instead. But if you want a smooth, classic feel and a lower price, ABS is a solid choice.
How the three sets differ in look and price
Nekoccino stands out with its Crema Orange alphas and Espresso Brown modifiers, inspired by a coffee brand. It costs $42.50 (compared to a $85.00 list price), making it the most expensive of the three but also the most distinctive.
TR_808 pays homage to the iconic drum machine with a design that merges musical legacy and Cherry profile precision. At $29.50 (from $59.00), it offers a retro-tech vibe at a mid-range price.
Future Knights takes a futuristic approach with a sleek aesthetic, also priced at $29.50 (from $59.00). It is the most affordable option and suits builds that lean modern or sci-fi.
Decision rules for choosing your ABS Cherry Profile keycaps
- If color and theme are your top priority: Pick Nekoccino for its unique coffee-inspired palette. Its Crema Orange and Espresso Brown colors are the most distinctive of the three.
- If you want a music or retro-tech vibe: Choose TR_808 for its homage to the TR-808 drum machine. It pairs a legendary look with Cherry profile comfort.
- If you want the lowest price: Go with Future Knights. At $29.50, it offers the same ABS Cherry profile construction as the others but with a futuristic theme. All three sets are currently discounted from their list prices, so check the current price before ordering.
- If you prefer a matte, shine-resistant surface: Consider PBT keycaps instead. ABS is durable but may develop shine over time, especially on high-use keys.
